Yoshi's Egg could refer that Yoshi could have made a bigger role in the game, but developers might have forgot/cut it/removed/ended it before the International/Japanese/European/U.S. He was not playable, yet still found behind the castle on the top. Yoshi only was in the game for approximately 2 minutes, and that's at the very end. There was another thing people found a hidden texture (sometimes related to as sprite) in the game, and it was Yoshi's Egg. Oh, thanks! And, many people have controversy about that… too… Luigi was available in Super Mario 64 DS (the remake), but not in the original one (we're talking about). If one goes into the back courtyard, and reads the sign on the fountain (keep in mind, it's hard to read), you will be able to read out ‘L is real 2401’. This time, there is a Luigi Reference, even though Luigi did not appear in the game as playable. 'L is real 2401' Once again I go back to Nintendo's great Super Mario 64 (N64 Version) on this one. It just looks like a normal courtyard, unless if you're a true Mario fan. (The ship is Olimar's.) Mario Sunshine Gamepad Reference If one plays Super Mario Sunshine, and goes to Sirena Beach, one will be able to see the courtyard is actually the shape of the GamePad controller, if you don't know what it looks like, then it is kind of easy to miss. Pikmin Space Cameo If one goes to Space Junk galaxy (yet again in the original Super Mario Galaxy title.) and finds a spaceship, that spaceship is actually Olimar's (from Nintendo's Pikmin Series) Ship. that's cool! Here's another one… 9999 Star Bit Unlockment If one gets 9999 Star Bits in the original Super Mario Galaxy title, it will turn all Coconuts into Watermelons. In Gameplay, it hasn't been found possible to open the door and read the book. If you use the Camera to align to see what's on the other side, you will be able to see a book closed and just sitting there. It gets even weirder if you do something.
Secret Book Behind Wall in Super Mario Sunshine If one goes to one level (sorry, I forgot), and goes to the door that never opens… It just seems weird from that point. In one release of the game, Wario's voice was edited, and so was Thwomps', which was later effected. (The Thwomps' voice is actually Wario's voice slowed down).
